Happy Easter wishes from leaders

MIDRAND - Easter message from councillors

Community leaders in Region A spoke to Midrand Reporter to wish residents well over the Easter weekend.

Station Commander for Ivory Park Police Station, Colonel Baba Mpotoane wished the people of Ivory Park a peaceful time with their loved ones.

He said that together with his staff members, they would be out in full force over the weekend. “I further advise every resident of this area to be the eyes and ears of the police. We have to be eternally vigilant in order to ensure that there is no space for criminality to thrive in our midst,” Mpotoane said.

The ANC’s Ward 110 councillor Lesiba Lamola also wished residents a happy and safe Easter weekend. “I wish the residents of Ward 110 inclusive of Mayibuye, Rabie Ridge Ext 2, President Park and Austin View a happy and safe Easter holiday. Whatever we do let us not forget to praise God for the wonderful life he gave us,” said Lamola.
