The Democratic Alliance in Midrand is planning another silent protest on 7 April against President Jacob Zuma and his decision to reshuffle the cabinet.
The demonstration comes after the party held a silent protest on Bridal Veil Street bridge near the Mall of Africa in Midrand on 31 March calling for Zuma’s resignation following his decision to axe ministers in his cabinet, including Finance Minister Pravin Gordhan.

Ward 132 councillor Annette Deppe said the protest which begins at 4.30pm will be for community members who wanted to join the previous protest but were unable to.
Protesters will meet in the open parking lot on the east side of the Mall of Africa across the bridge.
