Kyalami residents angry over road lawlessness

FOURWAYS – Ward 112 councillor has promised to address their concerns and to facilitate a transport summit.

 

A video posted on the SA Crime Watch Facebook page showing a minibus taxi colliding with another vehicle in Kyalami, apparently after the driver skipped a red robot.

Residents say they are tired of the lawlessness on the roads.

Ward 112 councillor Madeleine Hicklin shed some light on the situation. “We are very aware of the serious traffic lawlessness in the Midrand area. I have requested a meeting with the MMC for transport, Nonhlanhla Makhuba; MMC for public safety, Michael Sun; and MMC Funzela Ngobeni of developmental planning to try and look at the issues and to find a comprehensive solution.
