Dogs rescued from drain pipe

MIDRAND – Midrand and Edenvale SPCA joint effort rescues two dogs from a drain pipe.

 

Inspector Theo Mokgatle of the Midrand SPCA received a call on 7 February with regards to two dogs that had fallen into a drain pipe.

The anonymous caller directed Mokgatle towards the vicinity of Phomolong, whereby the inspector also contacted the Edenvale SPCA for assistance as it was uncertain whether it was Midrand or Edenvale SPCA’s jurisdiction.

With a joint effort from both the Midrand and Edenvale teams, the dogs were rescued.

The Midrand SPCA’s Brenda Lucas said both dogs are safe and unharmed.
