National Police Day celebrated in style
JOHANNESBURG – National Police Day was celebrated at the Johannesburg Stadium.
Gauteng police officers celebrated National Police Day at the Johannesburg Stadium on 27 January.
The Johannesburg East cluster was requested to host all the officers of Gauteng.
“We used the Johannesburg Stadium, which is in the Jeppe policing precinct. All clusters from Pretoria east and west, Sedibeng, Soweto west and east, Ekurhuleni, Honeydew, Johannesburg north and west and other clusters were there,” said a spokesperson for Jeppe Police Station, Captain Richard Munyai.
The theme of the day was fitness, hence the members participated in aerobics, rugby, soccer and a tug of war.
