According to police, the armed gang tied up two security guards with wire and left them in the school’s toilets before they broke into the principal and administrator’s offices.

The suspects allegedly gained entry to the offices through the roof and stole five laptops, curtains, a hard drive and two television monitors.

“We are urgently appealing for information from the public before other schools in the area could suffer similar damages and the future of the children attending these schools are adversely affected. These robbers must be brought to justice soon. As the police, we are doing everything possible to find and arrest these culprits,” said Ivory Park Police Station commander Brigadier David Ngcobo.
