Man gets 15 more years in jail

MIDRAND - Man jailed for robbery in Kyalami

 

A man who is serving a 20-year sentence for a robbery he committed in 2012 was recently served with 15 more years for committing another robbery.

Frans Ngwelane was sentenced to 20 years in prison by the Wynburg Magistrates’ Court in 2013 for a robbery which took place at a house in Kyalami.

He has been serving his sentence at Johannesburg Prison.

On 13 January, the court sentenced Ngwelane to a further 15 years in prison for another robbery he committed at a house on Macinnes Road in Kyalami in March 2011.
