We asked residents how they feel at this time of the year, and what their levels would be if they were a battery …

SINDISWA DLAMINI: I’m just exhausted. It’s because of exams and the #FeesMustFall.
NICOLA AFRICA: If I were a battery, I’d feel recharged. Nothing can get me down right now.
AQEEL ISMAIL: I’m on about 69 per cent. I try take power from everything, every day. It helps me to recharge myself.
MELISSA SONIKSON: I feel like the other bunny in the battery advert. I’m feeling low. Basically off. I’m feeling like this because of everything, it’s like life is shooting bullets at us.
