IFP launches Gauteng election manifesto

ALEXANDRA - IFP launches Gauteng election manifesto, Sunday, Katlehong

In the build up to the 3 August local government elections, the Inkatha Freedom Party will launch its election manifesto for the Gauteng leg of the campaign at 11am on 10 July at Huntersfield Stadium, Katlehong.

The event will be presided over by the party’s president Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi and other leaders. Starting on 8 July, there will be door-to-door campaigns in various communities to encourage people to vote for a leadership with integrity. The campaigners will visit various communities.

Buthelezi will also celebrate the 81st birthday of the Dalai Lama with the Office of Tibet in Pretoria.

On 9 July, Buthelezi and other leaders will be hosted to a dinner by Honourable MP Jan Esterhuizen where there will be a conversation on the role of minorities in the country’s democracy.
