Noordwyk resident wins car from Spar
MIDRAND – A happy day for a Midrand resident who won a car.
Joseph Mochampi from Noordwyk walked away with a Hyundai i10 Glide after he won Noordwyk Spar’s Win-A-Car 2016 competition.
The competition which ran from 19 April to 5 June gave away 100 Special Edition Hyundai i10 Glides.
Mochampi said he is thrilled to have won the car. “I am happy that I won the car, it was a nice surprise. I shop at the Noordwyk Spar a lot and enjoy their low prices and the service provided by their friendly staff.”
Noordwyk Spar owner, Kam Govender said, “This is the third car to be won in a year and a half at Noordwyk Spar. In August last year, we did a revamp of the store and it now offers more to customers.”
Govender said the store also prides itself on being involved in charity work in Midrand. “We often donate toys and doughnuts to children’s homes and old age homes as a way of giving back to the community.”
The handover event included giveaways and face painting for children.
