Call to attend meeting for new CPF in Austin View and Glen Austin

MIDRAND – Attend a public meeting to create a new CPF for three areas in Midrand.

The community is invited to a public meeting on 15 May which aims to establish a Community Policing Forum (CPF) for Austin View, Austin View Ext1 and Glen Austin Ext 3.

Information issued by the chairperson of the Midrand CPF executive committee, Steven Johnstone stated, “The major objective for community policing is to establish an active partnership between police and the community through which crimes and service delivery can jointly be analysed and appropriate solutions designed and implemented.”

Representatives from the South African Police Service, Metro police, key stakeholders and ward councillors will be present at the meeting. There will be a cash bar serving food and drinks.

The meeting will take place at Mi Casa Lodge, 67 Schipperke Place in Austin View from 3pm to 4.30pm.
