Youth seminar inspires

MIDRAND – The youth must stand up and take control of their future.

A Johannesburg Youth Seminar was recently held at the Midrand Graduate Institute and was attended by more than 50 young entrepreneurs and students from Johannesburg.

The seminar, hosted by Morongwa Youth Events and Community Development, a non-profit organisation which empowers young people through seminars and workshops, focused on entrepreneurship, education, leadership and motivation.

Founder of the organisation, Lena Rametse said, “We had special guests such as South African Municipal Workers’ Union spokesperson, Papikie Mohale and a business and life coach, Nomfundo Dakada.”

Rametse mentioned that the guest speakers also included entrepreneur and author, Sibusiso Molimi from Soweto who spoke about sustaining growth as an entrepreneur.

“Phila Lubisi from the University of Pretoria spoke about leadership and education and how to achieve good grades. The famous Lenie Pieterse, previous Miss Commonwealth International and Miss Inspire South Africa, spoke about making the vision you have a success.”

“The future of young people depends on them and their focus on being the change in South Africa,” said Rametse.
