The first thing franchise owner, Shereen Matheson said was, “Start using natural products sooner rather than later! You will be amazed at how different it feels to have natural, organic products on your face as opposed to make-up that is made with chemical additives, and often tested on animals.”

She has a point too. Many people have no idea how make-up is produced or what goes into it, and yet us ladies lather it on every day. Matheson always chooses to go organic because it is chemical and additive free. “No dyes or harmful preservatives are used. All the ingredients are natural and chemical free.”

Matheson stated that her products are incredibly popular, thanks to health awareness being on the rise. “It seems that people are becoming much more receptive to the idea of organic and healthy living and lifestyle choices, as opposed to the usual chemical route.”

She revealed that her products are all made locally, but she’s also playing around with a few recipes to create her own natural goodies. “The main benefit is that you are not loading your system with chemicals. It is easy to overlook the fact that your skin is the largest organ in your body, which absorbs everything that is rubbed into it, and it goes straight into your bloodstream. In an age where there are so many toxins in our food and water that we have to be careful of, we need to make healthier choices, especially with daily necessities – and for a woman, this is her skin care regime and make-up.”

At the moment, Matheson has an incredible selection of foundation creams, concealers, shimmer powders, lipsticks and balms, UV nail varnishes, mascaras and an even wider selection of skin care products like anti-aging creams and facial scrubs. She also hinted that soon she’ll be incorporating sunblocks, soaps and body creams.
