“All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy,” said Active Kids Day Nursery administrator, Loveness Nasser.
With this in mind, Nasser referred to a day of laughter and joy enjoyed by the children as the nursery school celebrated their Funny Dressing Day.
The children and the teachers of the school were assigned to dress up in their most outrageous outfits. The children, naturally, took the theme and ran with it. One pupil even dressed up as a baby.
“Laughter is needed in life and it’s good for one’s health. The whole idea was to encourage the little ones on the importance of make-believe and fantasy,” said Nasser. She said this encouraged the children to allow their creative juices to flow.
“All staff and kids came dressed in funny clothing. We would like to thank our parents for the effort displayed for making the day hilarious,” she said.
In an effort to show that hard work and out-of-the-box thinking is the way forward, the funniest dressed children and staff were given awards for their efforts.
