ER24 paramedics were called to the scene, and on arrival found that fire services had already extinguished what initially seemed to be a small fire – only to make the gruesome discovery.
“On inspection, paramedics discovered the burned body of a man lying on the roadside. His feet had apparently been bound with wire,” said Russel Meiring, ER24 spokesperson.
Unfortunately, nothing could be done for the patient and he was declared dead on the scene.
The details surrounding this incident are not yet known but local authorities are on scene for further investigations.
