“The [unknown] man appears to have been killed,” said Danny Maduray of Ria Sebetsa security company.
“The Midrand Police and Ria Sebetsa were on scene. The man was found among the bushes along Old Pretoria Road, nearby a nightclub,” he said. “The body was dragged about three metres away from the place where the murder happened.”
Midrand Police officers are also on site.
Constable Matome Tlamela, head of communications for the Midrand Police, said a case of murder is currently being opened by police.
She explained that police received the information that there was a body on Old Pretoria Road on 23 February via a 10111 call.
The suspects and motive are unknown at this stage but police are busy with their investigation.
