Matt Morkel, Connor McCabe, Alexander Hristov and Ethan McCabe all earned their full provincial colours awarded by the Gauteng Sports Council and Central Gauteng Judo. They also attained Judo South Africa colours for their numerous gold and silver medals after competing at the prestigious South African Open Championships held in Stellenbosch last year and at the South African Schools Championships.
Alexander’s mother, Bridget Hristov said, “These able sportsmen were recognised by Smith at his annual awards ceremony with certificates and trophies. Well done to these boys for their magnificent accolades.”
