Invitation to Judaism courses in Sandton and Savoy
SANDTON – The Kirsh Goodness and Kindness Centre is inviting interested residents to the upcoming, Jewish Course of Why.
The six-course session will begin on 24 February at the centre and will be hosted by Rabbi Ari Kievman every Wednesday evening over the next six weeks.
Rabbi Kievman, on behalf of the centre, explained the reason for hosting a course of this nature. “No religion is known for its rational basis and it’s welcoming of questions and intellectual debate quite like Judaism [and] in preparing for the course, we asked people to submit their biggest questions about Judaism and then selected the most popular among them and [will] address each one,” he said.
The course will cover a diverse range of topics regarding Judaism and is open to Sandton residents, whether Jewish or not. Another six-session course will take place at the Chabad House in Savoy on Tuesday mornings, starting on 23 February.
