According to Midrand police, the complainant said he had closed all the windows and the doors and gates were locked before he left the premises; but when he returned to work after the weekend, he found the gate open.

Midrand police spokesperson, Constable Matome Tlamela said, “The complainant said he checked the storeroom and found that boxes of body lotion had been stolen. He checked CCTV footage and saw a white Mercedes Benz Sprinter enter and later exit the premises.”
Tlamela explained that Johannesburg Flying Squad members were given the number plates and description of the vehicle and later police arrested the suspects after the Flying Squad spotted the 24- and 30-year-old suspects driving around in the vehicle.
The suspects will appear in court soon facing charges of business robbery and theft.
