New Year’s babies greet 2016

MIDRAND - The New Year brought with it a whole lot of bundles of joy as six babies were welcomed in to 2016 at Tembisa Hospital on New Year's Day.

 

The first baby of the year was born to mother Nyeleti Mabulelo at 1.20am. The baby girl, who is yet to be named, was delivered weighing a healthy 3kg.

Vivian Malepe was the proud mother of the second newborn baby at Tembisa Hospital. Her baby boy was born at 1.47am, weighing in at 3.09kg.

The third baby, and second male of the day, was born to Madeline Ngwenya at 3.10am. He came in at a weight of 2.67kg.

Andisiwe Nyongane was the mother of the fourth baby to be born on New Year’s Day at Tembisa Hospital, and the second baby girl of the day. Nyongane’s baby girl was born at 4am at a weight of 4.1kg.

The fifth baby to be born was delivered to mother Sibongile Sikhonje, at a weight of 3.9kg. The baby boy was born at 7.45am.

The final baby to be born at Tembisa Hospital on New Year’s Day was delivered to mother, Mantebaleng Raliphasalla at 8.40am. The baby girl came in to 2016 at 4.1kg.
