Pupil, Luben Human was among the Item Winners for his Grade 2 Solo Verse Narrative Poetry recital.

The Grade 2G class, trained by teacher Samantha Martins, was invited to perform at the awards ceremony. They went on to scoop awards for Category Winners in Choral Verse as well as the Ambassador Award for achieving a result in the top three percent nationally.

Teacher Jess Fritz’s Grade 7G Choral Verse group received the same accolade, as did pupils Darshan Thaver (Grade 3) and Cameron Kruger (Grade 7) for their solo poems.

Summerhill was also awarded for being one of the top 10 schools in the region. The school came in at number five.
