Little Green Elephants Nursery school hosts year-end concert

NOORDWYK - Parents, children and teachers from Little Green Elephants Nursery School in Midrand enjoyed their year-end concert recently.

The concert, which was held at Midrand Primary School, started off with an address by nursery school principal, Vicky Dlhamini. She said the school was proud of how well behaved the children were throughout the year. She said, “We are also excited about our Grade R class that has graduated and will be going to new schools next year.”

Dlhamini thanked the teachers for their hard work and caring for the children day in, and day out. She also mentioned that the school passed a recent health and safety inspection.

Children sang, danced and told fairy tales and showcased what they had learnt during the year.

Awards were given for the computer class and a certificate and a medal were given to some children who are part of Kidisportz, a programme taught by Vivian Scheepers from Kidisportz, which helps children improve their motor skills and confidence.
