According to posts on the Rabie Ridge Must Rise Up Facebook page, it is clear that no one has seen body parts, but news of such quickly spread, making residents concerned.
Rabie Ridge police spokesperson, Constable Jacob Nhlongo, said police were aware of the speculation.
“Such reports are not true. Police went to the house in question and found blood, but there were no body parts. The blood belonged to a man who was beaten up by women after he took their money, promising to double it, but failed to do so,” he said.
Nhlongo added that police are looking for the women and the bogus doctor, who have since disappeared.
