According to Johannesburg Water, Illovo, Sandton CBD, Sandhurst, Hyde Park and surrounds had their water restored at 4 am on 13 November. However certain areas may still be experiencing low pressure or no water due to the system filling up.
High lying areas will only receive water once low lying areas have filled up.
Johannesburg Water had to restrict water supply in Bryanston and extenstions, Daniel Brink Park, Mill Hill, Cramer View, Lyme Park and extensions and Vandia Grove today due to demand outstripping supply.
The reservoir level has no recovered sufficiently and water supply was restored at 12 pm.
