Family Affair Volume II exhibition

Reney Warrington’s new art exhibition, Family Affair Volume II, consists of excerpts from Reney’s family life, and is an incredible tribute to her family and other families with disabled children. Bankrupt

Comedy legend Mark Banks’ one man show Bankrupt is sure to tickle a few ribs. He’ll be consulting a babbling gnome, two wise men and Kobus Weise on issues such as where we are as a nation. 4th Edition of Fête De La Musique
(27 June)
The annual and free celebration of music and culture is set to storm Newtown Junction this weekend. Listen to pop, rock, hip-hop, jazz, traditional and even brass band music thanks to an incredible international line-up that includes the King of Salegy from Madagascar, Jaojoby; the French touch of Benjamin Piat from France; and the Reunionese maloya rhythms and sounds of Grèn Sémé. The local line-up is just as good, with the likes of BCUC, The Muffinz, Bongeziwe Mabandla, Coal Train Band, Go Barefoot, Pilani Bubu, Motsatsing and the Rays, The African Ambassadors Brothers and more taking centre stage. It’s all happening on 27 June, 10am to 7pm, at Newtown Junction Precinct.
