Impala rescued after being chased by an illegal hunter and 18 dogs

MIDRAND - Midrand SPCA posted on their Facebook page that a security company rescued an Impala which was being chased by a hunter and his 18 dogs in Midrand on 30 May.

The SPCA said the animal was taken to the shelter before being relocated to a different area. 

The SPCA said, “Hunting is illegal in the Midrand area and we ask that the public contact us whenever they spot one of these hunters.”

The SPCA further thanked the security company for rescuing the animal.

It is unclear what happened to the hunter and his dogs at this time.
