Crochet for Mandela

“There will be a free beginners crochet class on that day from 4.30pm to 5.30pm,” said Carla de Gouveia of Express!ons Creative Centre,” she said.

“Children will be taught to crochet and together we will crochet blocks that will be sewn together and donated on Mandela Day. Moms are welcome to join us too.”

De Gouveia said the blanket would be donated to 67 blankets for Mandela.

She said it was essential to book, and that starter packs of a ball of wool and a crochet hook are available at Hooked On Thread at Memories Corner on Whisken Road in Sagewood.
