Man in critical condition after crashing into a bridge pillar
MIDRAND - ER24 paramedics said that a motorist crashed into a bridge pillar on Allandale Road, between the K101 and Alsatian Road and sustained critical injuries.
Chitra Bodasing of ER24 spokesperson said the man was airlifted to hospital by ER24.
Bodasing said, “When ER24 paramedics, and Fire and Rescue Services, arrived on scene they found the man trapped in the car. He was rapidly extricated by paramedics.”
Bodasing said the paramedics treated the man at the scene and he was airlifted to hospital for further medical care.
The exact cause of the incident is unknown however authorities were on scene for further investigations.
