Police spokesperson Constable Matome Tlamela said, “According to the complainant, the suspect shoplifted packets of sealed spoons at Boulders Shopping Centre and ran out of the mall. Security guards called police and gave them the description of the suspect.”
Police looked for the suspect and arrested him on Old Pretoria Road. The suspect was searched and police found 10 packets of sealed spoons and a black plastic bag containing a spanner inside.
The suspect will soon appear at the Midrand Magistrates’ Court facing charges of possession of suspected stolen property.
