The shelter is the leading facility for the care of puppies and pregnant mother dogs in South Africa, and they currently have lots of gorgeous puppies and a few playful adult dogs up for adoption.
Arks’s adoption fee is R1 000, which includes inoculations, a rabies shot, de-worming and sterilisation when the puppy reaches six months of age. Home checks will be done before adoption takes place.
Ark is currently the benefactor of Social on Main’s Random Act of Kindness (Rak) nomination. The Rak nomination initiative was started last year to inspire people to offer random acts of kindness to individuals and organisations thereby creating a chain of charitable acts. The eatery has decided to donate R2 to the shelter from every hot dog sold. Ark encourages their supporters to indulge in a scrumptious hotdog for a good cause.
