Hijacked vehicle recovered in 15 minutes

Midrand Police, who were patrolling the area received a message from the control room to look out for a silver grey Toyota Yaris which was hijacked

in London Road next to the Engen garage in Alexandra, a few minutes before 3.50pm.

The police spotted the vehicle and stopped the driver. The men were arrested for being in possession of a hijacked vehicle.

Constable Matome Tlame, head of communications at the station said, “The police managed to recover the hijacked vehicle in less than 15 minutes after it was hijacked,” she said.
