Rabie Ridge police spokesperson Constable Jacob Nhlongo said, “Investigating officer Warrant Officer Frans Rapetsoa would like to thank eye witnesses who provided key statements in this case.”
The suspect, Nyambosi Mthethwa, had an argument with another man and stabbed the victim to death on the chest using a broken bottle. The suspect’s wife and another eye witness were in the house sleeping at the time of the murder. They were the first to witness the murder.
Police are appealing to members of the community to give police all the information if they witness a crime so that cases can be solved.
