Suspects arrested for suspected stolen property

Police spokesperson Constable Matome Tlamela said on 14 January, police received a complaint that a bakkie was loaded with suspected stolen goods. She said that police went to the scene at Old Pretoria Road and, upon arrival, found the loaded bakkie with three occupants. The bakkie was searched and police found four sealed boxes of ink cartridges with the estimated value of R300 000.”

Police asked the suspects for proof of purchase for the goods. The suspects failed to produce one and tried to run away. “Police managed to arrest all three suspects aged between 30 and 32 years of age. The suspects will appear at Midrand Magistrates’ Court soon facing charges of possession of suspected stolen property.”
