Woman arrested for allegedly killing boyfriend

Ivory Park police spokesperson Warrant Officer Neldah Sekgobela said the incident took place at Ivory Park Ext. 2 at night where the deceased, Mafefe from Limpopo, took fatal stab wounds. “It is alleged that the suspect and the deceased had an argument before the woman took out a knife and stabbed her partner on his body and killed him. Police were informed of the murder and on arrival at the scene, found paramedics who confirmed the victim had died.”

The body was taken to a government mortuary.

The suspect is now being held in Ivory Park police station cells and she will appear in the Tembisa Magistrates’ Court on a murder charge.

Sekgobela advised, “In cases of domestic relationships, if you have noticed that things are falling apart and you realise there is no solution for it, you must separate with your partner to avoid violence and fatal incidents. Tolerance sometimes may lead to tragic deaths.”
