As reported in the article, Strangled woman’s domestic worker arrested for murder, Warrant Officer Moses Maphakela stated that Zwakala said one of the suspects involved in the murder on 10 December was her boyfriend. Thira from Vorna Valley was allegedly ambushed by three gunmen apparently known to Zwakala.
Initially the accused told police that she did not know the men and even received trauma counselling, but she later confessed her involvement.
The three men are still at large. Zwakala is reportedly pregnant and her bail hearing will be on 15 January.
