Community invited to attend football championship
MIDRAND - The Football Five World Championship (F5WC) kick starts this year on the 25 January at the Midrand soccer arena.
Interactive Sport public relations officer, Nqobile Mabaso said, “We would like to invite the Midrand community to come and get involved in the activities we have planned for the day. Groups of friends from high school or university are welcome.”
She said the only restriction was that every participant must be over the age of 16. She added, “If you have a passion for football or you have made a resolution to be fit or travel outside of the country, this opportunity is for you. Each team has to have five to seven players and have R1 200 entry fee.”
The winning team will receive an all expenses paid trip to Dubai from 23 to 25 April. Fifteen of the 32 places available in the competition have been filled.
