Man robbed after one night stand

IVORY PARK - A woman robbed a 39-year-old man from Ivory Park at night after she met him at a restaurant.

Warrant Officer Neldah Sekgobela said Ivory Park police are appealing to residents, especially men who usually visit a restaurant on 29 September Drive, to be alert and aware of women who pretend to be there to drink and meet men as the women may be intent on committing crimes.

She explained, “The complainant met a woman from Pretoria at the restaurant. He later took her to his place at Ebony Park. At night, the lady allegedly woke up and stole the man’s vehicle, a Toyota Corolla, drivers license, cellphone and his ID document.”

The vehicle was later recovered in Pretoria after the complainant reported the matter.

Police would also like to inform the community that the areas Kaalfontein Extension 22 and 23 will be policed by Ivory Park Saps according to the demarcation board.

Anyone with important issues relating to crime around the area can contact the station commander.
