Life4u needs your help

MIDRAND - Life4u, the non-profit organisation based in Ivory Park, needs the Midrand community's help.

On 13 December, they will host a Christmas party for the most disadvantaged community members of Ivory Park and Thembisa.

“The purpose of the event is to help the disadvantaged people in our communities to have a hopeful life by ensuring that they are not deprived of dignity and the right to live a happy and prosperous life this festive season,” said Mpho Mofokeng, the organisation’s chairperson.

On the day, they will be preparing meals for community members; and will also provide them with clothes and food parcels. They are hoping to host more than 60 disadvantaged families.

All this will not be achieved without the helping hands of those who can give. They need sponsorship and donations for the following items: food to be cooked on the day, food parcels for 100 families, clothes (new or well kept), fruit and vegetables, toys and a hired jumping castle for the kids.

The event will be held at Tumelo home in Ivory Park. The home is for severely disabled youth.
