She stated, “The stores will be giving a portion of their proceeds to the Midrand SPCA.”
Midrand SPCA chairperson Brenda Lucas said the animal shelter appreciates the support. “As December draws to a close, our food supplies become very low due to an influx of unwanted or abandoned animals.”
The SPCA will be at the opening of the new shopping centre on 30 November at the corner of Dytchley and R55 Kyalami Main roads to collect food donations for the animals.
There will be loads of entertainment for the whole family. A Soweto brass band will provide entertainment, children will have fun on jumping castles and have their faces painted and a performance by Jason Hartman will captivate audiences.
