R500 000 jewellery thief arrested

MIDRAND - The Midrand police have arrested a suspect on possession of suspected stolen property charges.

The suspect was found at the scene of a crime in an estate on Robin Road in Vorna Valley.

The property he had on him were seven luxury wrist watches that are valued at R500 000.

The arresting officer said on 4 November, when he was on duty, he received a call that informed him of a robbery that was taking place. The informer described the suspect to him.
