Action plans for Kyalami

KYALAMI - All residents and stakeholders in the agricultural holdings of Kyalami, Glenferness, Beaulieu, Saddlebrook, Blue Hills, Sun Valley and Crowthorne are invited to a meeting.

The meeting will be on the 12 November at 6.30pm to discuss an integrated plan for the area.

Despite the increasing pressure of development, the area still continues to be the equestrian hub of South Africa. However, it is now under threat said chairperson of Gekco Kristen Kalleson. The purpose of the meeting is to explain the structure and process to form the plan, confirm the stakeholders and discuss the broad stroke plan that has been prepared.

Andrew Barker, a town planner, will be facilitating the meeting. The plan is to conquer some of the key issues in the area. Residents are asked to think of a name for the plan, and about what they would like to achieve out of this process. If you are unable to attend, please send suggestions or comments to the committee. Kallesen stated all those who want to attend need to RSVP before the meeting as pizzas and a cash bar will be available.
