Details surrounding the apparent murder of chef Daniel Mxolisi Nxumalo are still sketchy, but some people who knew him have alleged on Facebook that he was beaten with bricks and thrown over a fence near Gallagher Estate.
Midrand police communications officer Constable Matome Tlamela revealed that the deceased was found lying on his back and bleeding from the ears and head. “Paramedics declared the deceased dead at the scene,” she said. “Police found an iPad pouch, Samsung cellphone, drivers licence, ID card and bank cards when the body was checked.”
No arrests have been made and police request anyone with information to contact them.
