The suspect had been on the run after he murdered his girlfriend after an alleged altercation.
He was on bail for another murder charge.
The woman was found dead at the boyfriends’ residence by neighbours who had heard the couple arguing.
Rabie Ridge police spokesperson Constable Jacob Nhlongo said, “Thanks to the hard working police detectives, the suspect was arrested in Hammanskraal. He will soon appear at Tembisa Magistrates’ Court on a charge of murder.”
