Interwaste public meeting in September
MIDRAND - Interwaste FG would like to invite Glen Austin residents to a follow-up meeting on concerns raised by residents about its landfill.
The meeting will be at the Interwaste site on 6 September at 9am.
This meeting comes after Midrand Reporter reported on residents’ concerns with regard to noise, waste and air quality around their homes which are close to the landfill. Interwaste management had a monitoring committee meeting on 28 July and invited residents to raise their concerns.
A petition with 300 signatures was circulated pertaining to the landfill.
