Stolen items recovered

Rabie Ridge police spokesperson Constable Jacob Mhlongo said, “Police are looking for suspects who hijacked a driver of a delivery van and stole 150 cellphones in Kempton Park. The bakkie was recovered in Pretoria while the cellphones were found stored in a storage room in Austin View.”

“The items recovered in the room were cellphones, a plasma TV and TV stands, a double bed and a fridge. The driver of the bakkie was found unharmed at the back of the van where the suspects left him. The recovered vehicle was tested and found to be a bakkie listed in police records as a hijacked vehicle.”

Constable Mhlongo added that the suspects are still at large and anyone with information should contact Rabie Ridge Police Station on 011 310 0410.
