Help feed the SPCA’s animals
MIDRAND - Midrand SPCA is in desperate need of pet food, specifically for dogs.
Manager of the branch, Elsje Naicker and chairperson Brenda Lucas said they put an appeal out on social media networks, but the support from the community had been slow.
They said if their supporters could sponsor one bag each, that would help. Any brand of pet food is welcome.
Naicker added that dog blankets were needed too.
Monetary deposits are also appreciated.
Also on the SPCA’s wish list was cat litter, toys, stationery, first aid kits, leashes, a GPS, a new freezer, a heavy duty lawnmower and kitchen cupboards.
The SPCA is situated at 6 Dale Road in Glen Austin.

Last year my school helped out and provided over 20 packs of dog food and blankets. I will ask for it to be done again. Hopefully Sagewood will help again!
