Prancing for funds

MIDRAND - The SA Lipizzaners played host to a Cansa fundraiser.

The stallions pranced and did not miss a beat for the attentive audience.

From young to old, community members came in their numbers to enjoy the show. Judy Vertue of the SA Lipizzaners hosted the event and explained the horses movements to the audience. After the show, the audience was invited to the courtyard to feed the horses carrots.

While the horses enjoyed a well-deserved snack, the children turned their attention to the jumping castle, while parents relaxed under the shade of trees.

The SA Lipizzaner riders, dressed smartly in their white jodhpurs and red riding jackets, walked around the courtyard, chatting to families and explaining their role at the centre.
