Interested parties are invited to share their views and suggestions on the rates and taxes policy before implementation, in terms of the Municipal Property Rates Act.
The City of Johannesburg is inviting ratepayers and interested parties to the second phase which is the viewing of the proposed and updated rates and taxes policy draft.
The due date for comments, submission and inputs is 30 April.
In addition to submitting comments via email and fax, comments on the proposed rates and taxes policy draft may be made orally at any of the public meetings that will be held regionally.
The updated rates and taxes policy draft is available on the city council’s website.
