Conservancy to discuss constitution

KYALAMI - The Greater Kyalami Conservancy has invited its members to an interim meeting, before the annual general meeting on 15 April, to discuss proposed changes to the constitution.

This meeting will be held on 9 April from 6.30pm to 8pm at the Beaulieu College Pavilion.

Chairperson of the conservancy Kristin Kallesen said the reasoning behind the proposed changes would be discussed at the meeting.

“The Greater Kyalami Conservancy has always and continues to put a large amount of effort and energy into the preservation of the greater Kyalami area and have spent a great deal of time discussing how best to strengthen the organisation’s perception,” she said.

“These changes are not taken lightly and are being put forward in line with the objectives of a conservancy.”

John Wesson, chairperson of the National Conservancy Association of South Africa will be in attendance to give valuable input on the importance of conservancies and the role they play in conservation.

“We urge you to take the time to attend the meeting in order to clarify the way forward which the Greater Kyalami Conservancy committee is envisioning,” said Kallesen.
