Register to vote in Midrand
MIDRAND - A number of community members are still unsure where Midrand voting stations are in order to register with the Independent Electoral Commission to vote in the next elections.
Voting stations in Midrand can be found in the following places:
- In Noordwyk: St George Complex and Midrand Primary School
- In Blue Hills: Scorpion College on Mimosa Road
- In Blue Valley: Open Space, the corner of Rooihuiskraal and Rietspruit roads
- In Sun Valley: Cluny Farm on Rose Road
- In Beaulieu: Beaulieu Preparatory School
- In Waterfall: Waterfall Park
- In Crowthorne and Carlswarld: Fly Fishing Adventure
- In Country View: Country View Engen Garage
- In Kyalami Hills and Kyalami Estate: The Swiss Club
- In Halfway Gardens: Halfway House Primary
- In President Park, Austin View: Halfway House Community Hall
- In Glen Austin and Randjiesfontein: Randjiesfontein Homestead
- In Olievenhoutbosch: Orefile Primary School
- In Olifantsfontien: next to Lindokuhle Creche
- In Kaalfontein: Drake Koka Primary School and Kaalfontein Primary School
- In Ebony Park: Ponelopele Secondary School and Ebony Park Primary School
- In Ivory Park: Ivory Park Primary School and Ikageng Edu Centre
Registrations are open from 8am to 5pm and 10 November is the last day to register. In order to register, community members should be South African citizens and older than 16 years old.
Citizes must take their green, bar-coded ID book, ID smartcard or Temporary Identity Certificate to register.
